At it’s November Court meeting it was wonderful to see five new members join the Company as Freemen; Catherine Connolly of ML Accessories; Richard Hinchcliffe of Challenger Lighting Services; Daniel Matthews of Armadillo Lighting; Gareth Quarterly of Trilux and Adrian Willis of Recolight.

The Master, Steve Thomas, welcomed them all to the Company and encouraged them to progress to full membership by gaining the Freedom of the City and then applying to become Liverymen of the Company.

It was also a great pleasure for the Court to welcome one of our Journeymen, Scott Windows, as a new Freeman of the Company. The Lightmongers Journeyman scheme is a form of mentoring for younger members in the industry and on completion of the process i.e. their journey they are invited to join the Company as a Freeman.

It was also a great pleasure for the Court to congratulate two of our members on progressing to full membership by becoming Liverymen of the Company: Norman Emery of Selux and Richard Frost, recently retired from the ILP.

Liverymen are able to become more involved in the development of the Company e.g. through participating in Committees and are also eligible to vote in the annual elections for the Lord Mayor and Sheriffs of London.

The Master, Steve Thomas, congratulated the new Liverymen and Freemen and presented them with their membership certificates.
